PUMA Basketball and Tyrese Haliburton will release it Hali 1 Hallucinationsa new basketball sneaker created in collaboration with a designer Salehe Bembury. The model will arrive on March 20, 2026. The project introduces a new silhouette associated with Haliburton as he prepares for his return to NBA action next season.
SNEAKERS
The design reflects a period of unpredictability in Haliburton’s career. The concept behind the “Hallucinating” colorway draws from this experience while signaling a renewed focus for the upcoming season. The sneaker currently translates into a performance model built for on-court competition.
Bembury approached the project through a futuristic visual direction combined with the technical construction developed for a basketball game. The Hali 1 incorporates a dynamic upper designed to support quick transitions, quick changes of direction and explosive movement during games.
PUMA built the sneaker around several performance components. The midsole incorporates full-length NITROFOAM cushioning. Engineers produce this foam through nitrogen injection, which creates a lightweight material designed to provide cushioning underfoot.
The sneaker also includes a TPU midfoot core that reinforces the shoe’s structure. This element stabilizes the foot through the midsection of the silhouette and supports balance during lateral movement on the court.
The outsole uses PUMAGRIP, a high-friction rubber compound developed for traction. This material supports traction on hardwood surfaces during acceleration, defensive stops and quick changes of direction.
Together, these elements create a basketball model designed for performance. The upper construction, shock absorption system, midfoot reinforcement and traction outsole make up the technical structure of the Hali 1.
The Hali 1 “Hallucinating” will retail for $130. The release connects PUMA Basketball, Tyrese Haliburton and Salehe Bembury via a new performance silhouette scheduled to arrive on March 20, 2026.
