BRABUS and DAB Motors present an electric range of three bikes
German mobility brand BRABUS launches its first electric motorcycle in collaboration with the French manufacturer DAB motor. Presented during Milan Design Week 2026the collection presents three new BRABUS motorcycle models, DAB 1a BRABUS, BRABUS URBAN E and BRABUS URBAN E FIRST EDITION, marking a new direction for fully electric urban two-wheelers. The series introduces a more expressive reading of the BRABUS design language through color and material contrast. Alongside the deep carbon black finishes, the FIRST EDITION brings four saturated tones, ‘Peetch’, ‘Desert Sand’, ‘Superviolet’ and ‘Fusion Red’, applied as full-body finishes rather than accents. Each color extends to the seat, creating a continuous visual field where the bodywork and upholstery are read as a single movement.
All three bikes are based on DAB Motors DAB 1a electrical architecturedefined by a 72-volt (7.1 kWh) lithium-ion battery and a carbon strap that keeps both visual and mechanical language minimal. In urban conditions, the system offers a range of up to 150 km, with a top speed electronically limited to 120 km/h. Charging is built into the daily usage rate, allowing a 50% to 100% refill in around 1.5 hours and a full charge in less than four hours via standard home or Type 2 connections.
Within this common technical base, the BRABUS versions explore different measurements of the same structure, adjusting the surface treatment, detail and visual intensity while remaining connected to a single core architecture. Instead of a fixed typology, the platform works as a design system, open to variations in three different expressions. Two-seater in configuration and intended for urban environments, the motorcycle maintains a simple functional brief, while placing everyday movement in a more considered visual and material framework.

DAB 1a BRABUS opens the range with an emphasis on surface refinement and material clarity. The bike is finished entirely in deep black, dotted with exposed carbon fiber elements that define its structure, including the side ducts, engine cover inserts, belly and front fender. The seats are upholstered in Alcantara with subtle gray motorsport-inspired stitching, reinforcing a restrained, technical reading of the form. Beneath the surface, the setup delivers 31 hp (23 kW) and 395 Nm of torque, shaping a compact, controlled driving character that relies on immediacy rather than exaggeration.
BRABUS URBAN E is based on the same DAB 1a architecture, but shifts the visual and technical language towards greater intensity. Performance increases by up to 20%, reaching 37 hp (27.6 kW) and 475 Nm at the wheel through revised engine mapping and an upgraded converter. To do this, the design introduces carbon fiber cooling vents, rear fins and wheel covers that sharpen the overall silhouette. An illuminated BRABUS logo on the faceplate and integrated LED strips on the carbon intake elements define the front end, while a red Masterpiece leather seat with the signature ‘Shell’ adds a contrasting layer of touch to the otherwise dark composition.
The BRABUS URBAN E FIRST EDITION has the same technical basis as the URBAN E, but is defined by color and limitations. Produced in a run of just 40 units worldwide, it is divided into four signature BRABUS tones, ‘Peetch’, ‘Desert Sand’, ‘Superviolet’ and ‘Fusion Red’. Each color runs throughout the bodywork and continues into the Masterpiece seat, creating a continuous visual field rather than separate elements. The result is a more expressive interpretation of BRABUS platformwhere color becomes the primary differentiator in a shared structural language.
