There are silent creatures that do not wait for the perfect light of a spring morning to shine or the methodical ritual of unceasing care. Lust: uncomplicated movement
Lust is different from the other two because it doesn’t stay. It moves, grows, descends. And that’s exactly what makes it interesting, if used in the right way.
Left on a high shelf or a piece of furniture, it can be lowered to create a soft line that accompanies the space. You don’t need to monitor it constantly: even with irregular watering it continues to grow and adapt.
In a kitchen, for example, it can be placed above a wall unit or on an open shelf, where it falls without getting in the way. In the living room, in a library, it breaks the rigidity of the lines without weighing it down. The point is not to leave him “free to chance”, but use it to create movement in a controlled way.
Where to put them to look “design”
The difference between any plant and a plant that looks part of the work lies in its location. Sansevieria works best when allowed to breathe. Placing it in a free corner, with no other elements around it, makes it visually stronger. If placed too close to other objects, it loses its graphic effect.
Zamioculcas, on the other hand, works well near horizontal volumes. Placed next to a low piece of furniture or an armchair it creates balance, because it fills the space without rising too high.
Lust changes completely depending on where it is placed. If it is placed low it becomes messy, but if it starts from a shelf or a high point, it accompanies the wall and makes the environment more dynamic. The vessel also plays an important role. Neutral tones, opaque materials, simple shapes help maintain consistency. You don’t need something decorative, but something that doesn’t interfere with the plant.
