Kith and Win return to “Linen” color story with a new Air Max 95 release that changes one of the most talked about sneaker culture Air Force 1 pallets in a different silhouette. The Kith x Nike Air Max 95 “Linen” takes its cues from Nike Air Force 1 Low “Linen,A 2001 Japan exclusive from the Co.Jp series that later became one of the most sought after Air Force 1 releases among collectors. Kith helped bring this pair back in 2016 for the opening of its Miami store, and now the brand is revisiting the same beige and pink tongue via the Air Max 95.

The sneaker uses cream beige leather on the Air Max 95’s layered side panels and toe area, with matching mesh above the wavy stripes. Light pink pops through the eye stay loops, small side Swoosh, heel branding, Air units and outsole. The heel is now branded with ‘Kith Air’, giving the design an immediate collaborative marker. Metallic silver appears on the whisker and tongue, adding a detail that wasn’t present on the original Air Force 1 “Linen.” White and silver trim completes the pair, keeping the palette close to the source while adapting it to the Air Max 95’s structure.

The report carries weight for Kith because Ronnie FiggIts long association with the Air Force 1 “Linen”. When Kith revived the shoe in 2016, Fieg described the original as his all-time favorite sneaker and recalled a time when collectors had to travel, seek out contacts or rely on personal networks to find rare pairs. The Kith Miami release in 2016 gave the shoe its first return since dropping in Japan in 2001, before Nike later gave the “Linen” Air Force 1 a wider release via the 2024 Cult Classics collection.

Nike expanded the “Linen” line again with a canvas version, the “Linen Linen” Air Force 1, a year later. The Air Max 95 “Linen” now gives the palette another chapter, this time through a model recently explored by Kith with Nike. Towards the end of 2025, Kith released Air Max 95 colorways with monogram detailing, though these pairs only arrived for younger sneaker fans. A few pairs of friends and family appeared in larger sizes, but the main circulation remained focused on children.

That trend continues with the Kith x Nike Air Max 95 “Linen.” Current information shows elementary, preschool and toddler sizes. The size of the adults remains unclear. The kids-only approach follows Fieg’s idea of creating pairs for the next generation rather than just building for adult collectors and their memories.

The Kith x Nike Air Max 95 “Linen” will arrive this summer, with Kith channels and the SNKRS app expected as potential release points. The drop connects Kith’s 15th anniversary with a familiar piece of Nike history, revisiting a collector’s favorite through a new silhouette, a new audience and a release format that keeps the “Linen” story alive beyond the Air Force 1.
