Balenciaga is officially launching its first collaborative shoes created alongside a designer Manolo Blahnik. The new footwear first appeared as part of it the brand’s fall 2026 collectionwith a title Body and Being. This corporate product introduction highlights specific manufacturing techniques and specialized craftsmanship.
The essence of Couture emerges through manufacturing excellence and specialized technical know-how. The brand works directly with expert craftsmen in designated areas to achieve high material quality and structural excellence in the footwear medium. This particular creative ideology defines the physical identity of the House of Balenciaga. The manufacturing methodology likewise shapes the Creative Director’s distinctive professional fashion approach Pierpaolo Piccioli.

Balenciaga chose to work with Manolo Blahnik because of his extensive historical experience in the luxury footwear industry. Blahnik has been a respected shoe designer for over five decades. The current joint project introduces a trio of different footwear styles to consumers. Pierpaolo Piccioli stated that the partnership was developed for personal reasons. Piccioli noted his longtime admiration for Blahnik and pointed out that Blahnik represents elegance. He also noted that because Blahnik is Spanish Cristobal Balenciagathe two creators share a distinct cultural sensibility.
The Balenciaga and Manolo Blahnik collection includes three specific shapes. The footwear line includes a low-heeled mule along with a classic slingback design. Consumers can choose the slingback model with either a 105mm heel or a shorter 50mm heel height. The distinct silhouettes of the neckline reveal the wearer’s skin. This physical appearance is linked to the primacy of the human form in Piccioli’s creative vision for Balenciaga.

The individual styles create a direct dialogue by drawing inspiration from Manolo Blahnik’s historic archival designs. Piccioli personally selected these specific archival shapes for the collection. Workers execute the outer bodies of the shoes using high-quality silk-satin fabrics. The inner sections feature a full leather lining colored in Balenciaga’s signature grey. Asymmetric crystal leaf embellishments decorate the outside of the shoes. Artisans hand-embroider these specific crystal elements to flow directly into the low-cut vamp area of the footwear.

Crystal leaf embellishments highlight a distinct method of applying decorative preciousness to footwear, combining essential jewelry elements with luxury everyday shoes. These elegant design gestures recall historical archival Balenciaga couture items from the 1960s. The visual references underscore a consistent artistic affinity and a clear aesthetic symbiosis between the original creators. The final product range includes the crystal embellished heel, the slingback heel and the slingback mule.
The brand offers the items in silk-satin in black, gris plume, grass, lime or violet. The shoes are available at selected physical Balenciaga stores worldwide and via the official Balenciaga website. Each pair purchased comes in special luxury packaging. Unique retail packaging includes protective dust bags, sturdy shoe box and matching tissue.
