Jordan brand presents it Trianglea new low-performance basketball shoe built for the pace and agility of today’s game. Inspired by the attacking triangle, the silhouette targets players who contribute in every phase of the game, from scoring and passing to defending, cutting and reacting under pressure. The model brings ZoomX foam, Air Zoom, Cushlon 3.0, a carbon-inspired knit upper, an injection-molded lateral and Hart rubber 2.0 traction in a court-ready design.

The triangle offense is based on distance, timing, trust and constant decision making. Jordan Brand uses this reference for a shoe that does all five roles on the floor, from guards who create off the dribble to forwards and bigs who defend, cut, rebound and finish through contact. The concept fits the modern game, where players switch tasks, cover ground quickly and stay active for many minutes.

Jordan Brand builds the Triangle around lasting energy and impact protection. ZoomX foam in the forefoot helps with explosive takeoffs, while Air Zoom in the heel softens landings. A Cushlon 3.0 carrier adds a soft, responsive base underfoot, providing players with support from the first possession to the final stretch of a game.

Leo Chang, Jordan Senior Creative Director, Basketball & Sport, says the team designed the Triangle around the reality of youth basketball, where players spend more minutes on the court and need constant energy on both offense and defense. He describes energy return as a key priority for the silhouette, with ZoomX and Air Zoom working together to support the demands of extended play.

The Triangle keeps athletes close to the court thanks to its sleek low profile. This profile supports a direct court feel while allowing quick reactions during cuts, stops and changes of direction. The injection-molded lateral shank adds midfoot stability, helping players stay supported during two-way play. Jordan Brand combines this structure with the cushioning system to create a shoe that responds under pressure while protecting the foot during repeated impact.

A woven carbon fiber inspired construction gives the shoe breathability, durability and stability. This cooling factor matters during long runs, especially for athletes who log extended minutes in matches, practices and tournament settings. The material also gives the Triangle a technical look that reflects its function on the pitch.

Traction comes through a full-body Hart rubber 2.0 herringbone outsole. Jordan Brand uses this setting to provide players with traction during hard stops, side slides, drives and defensive reactions. The outsole supports the shoe’s two-way focus, as players need the same confidence when attacking the basket and guarding on the other end.

Cameron Boozer praised the Triangle after trying it out on the field. He says he felt connected to the shoe from the first time he laced it up, showcasing its comfort, support and impact in both attack and defence. Boozer also says the shoe gives him a real benefit during the game, adding that the advantage it provides shows in his game.

Sarah Strong points to the shoe’s cushioning as one of its defining features. He describes the Triangle as a responsive shoe designed with an athlete in mind, adding that the cushioning setup supports the way he plays.

The Triangle will be released globally on July 2nd in three colorways: Volt-Infrared, Baltic Blue and Hyper Punch. Each pair will retail for $140, with standard unisex sizes from 3.5 to 18.

The model will also appear in base-inspired editions tied to Quai 54, Next Stop Dongdan and NY vs NY, with those colorways available at their respective markets. Jordan Brand will place the Triangle throughout the upcoming season at Jordan Brand Schools, EYBL and JBC events, giving the shoe a direct connection to youth competition and streetball culture.
