The show used the city as a key element of its identity, with restaurants, offices, streets, hotels and fashion moments forming the recognizable rhythm of Emily’s life.
Darren Star’s titles available on Netflix, including Emily in Paris, Sex and the City, Younger, Sex and the City: The Movie, Sex and the City 2 and Uncoupled, accumulated a total of 435 million views from the first half of 2023 to the second half of 2025.
