Adidas and Humanrace present the Adizero EVO SL Mars

Adidas and Pharrell Williams‘ Humanrace present it Adizero EVO SL in new coloring with title Marsaccompanied by a coordinated clothing release including a jacket and shorts. The project continues the collaboration between adidas and Humanrace and features footwear and apparel designed for everyday running and outdoor activities. The release pairs performance footwear with apparel developed for training environments.

The Adizero EVO SL draws design reference from the elite running DNA of the Adios Pro EVO 1. adidas developed this version for runners looking for shoes designed for speed while maintaining comfort during everyday training. The shoe uses full-body LIGHTSTRIKE PRO foam underfoot, creating a high-stack platform designed to deliver a smooth and dynamic ride. The construction avoids stiffness elements and allows the foam structure to drive propulsion during runs.

Engineers constructed the upper using engineered mesh that provides targeted support through specific zones of the shoe. This design allows for increased breathability in areas that benefit from airflow during physical activity. The mesh structure also supports stability during long runs and repetitive workouts. These construction options align the shoe with everyday runners who train regularly and demand technical performance from their footwear.

The color of Mars draws inspiration from the dusty surface of the red planet. adidas and Humanrace translate this reference through the palette applied to the footwear and apparel pieces included in the release. The campaign shoot took place in Oregon’s Painted Hills, a landscape known for its layered mineral formations that resemble alien terrain. The visual follows a runner navigating this rugged environment and presents running as a daily practice linked to wellness and awareness.

Alongside the sneaker, adidas and Humanrace present the Mars clothing set consisting of a matching jacket and running shorts. The shorts feature a relaxed fit with a mid-thigh length and breathable construction, suitable for outdoor activities. The jacket features a slightly more fitted structure compared to a traditional track jacket, while maintaining room for physical activity. The design includes an adjustable hem and lightweight material for support during runs.

The Mars Pack includes the Humanrace Adizero EVO SL sneaker by Pharrell Williams for $160, the track jacket for $120 and the shorts for $70. adidas will release the collection on March 21 through select adidas retailers and adidas.com.
