Fear of God partners with Vanson Leathers in a limited edition hooded bomber. The collaboration focuses on a single garment that applies the House’s established motif to leather construction developed through the Vanson atelier. The release combines the Fear of God outerwear design and Vanson’s leather production expertise through a direct fit silhouette.

The jacket follows the structure of the Fear of God hooded bomber, translated into a Vanson-produced leather form. This approach connects an existing outerwear design with a material related to Vanson’s work. The collaboration is based on a clear transformation of the silhouette while maintaining its recognizable form.

Laser-cut leather appliqué defines the surface of the garment, with ESSENTIALS artwork on the front and a large “26” on the back. The graphic direction is based on references associated with racing and indoor sports, giving the jacket a clear visual identity. The construction introduces additional elements that shape the structure of the jacket. A quilted lining covers the interior, while the side pockets are integrated into the shape of the outerwear. Knitted cuffs and waist hem frame the silhouette, maintaining the proportions of the hooded bomber.

Fear of God has developed a consistent approach to outerwear through its core collections and ESSENTIALS range, often working with familiar silhouettes and enhancing them through material and proportions. This collaboration extends this approach to leather, using Vanson’s expertise to reinterpret a recognizable form. The hooded bomber retains its identity while introducing a different texture and weight with the use of leather.

The collaboration with Vanson Leathers marks a focused release, based on a single garment that bridges two distinct design approaches. Fear of God contributes his established visual direction and motif, while Vanson applies his construction knowledge and detailing techniques. Together, they produce a jacket that reflects both perspectives through its construction and surface treatment.

The piece is available as the Vanson Essentials Leather Hooded Bomber and retails for $1,195.
