Gentle Monster Veggie Collection: Step into a surreal plush pop-up farm

If you thought retail shopping couldn’t get any wilder, Gentle monster he simply said, “Hold my broccoli.” The innovative Korean eyewear brand has done it again, launching the brilliant Gentle Monster Veggie Collection alongside a series of surreal, immersive retail installations that look a lot more like a high-fashion theme park than a store.

Debuting in style hubs from Los Angeles to Seoul to Bangkok, these pop-ups transform chic shopping floors into vast, stylized rural dreamscapes. Right in the center, you’re greeted by an oversized tomato sculpture surrounded by a cast of quirky, plush vegetable characters called ‘Veggiemon’. We’re talking giant, fluffy broccoli-like creatures with cute little teeth, eggplants, beets and mushrooms buried in fake soil. It’s totally whimsical, incredibly touchable, and honestly, a great way to have a product launch experience.

Eye candy aside, there’s a super fun interactive photo booth where you can actually transform into one of these lovable Veggiemon creatures. It’s the perfect excuse to snap some photos for your feed while checking out the actual line of glasses. Speaking of frames, the collection features ten ultra-compact, collapsible designs inspired by organic vegetable stems and silhouettes. Gentle Monster has beautifully translated these natural forms into wearable art, proving that good looks can have a wonderfully playful edge. If one of these pop-ups is near you, you should definitely check it out!
