Tatras Spring Summer 2027, The Road of the Seaand is seen in wind and water as forces that shape clothing. The collection studies how clothing responds to exposure, pressure and movement over time. The sea gives the season its central image: open and free, but unpredictable, resilient and constantly changing.
The wind drives one side of the collection. It creates volume, transparency and movement through pure technical nylons, silk ripstops, layered surfaces and sail-inspired constructions. Water brings another set of ideas into focus. It denotes corrosion, protection, fit and durability, shown through dyed cotton garments, waxed technical surfaces, membranes and lightweight outerwear.
Tatras builds the era around the way materials react under force. The collection is partly inspired by Hiroshi Sugimoto’s seascapes, where the horizon, sky and water appear in reduced form. It also draws from Gualtiero Redivo, whose sail-like structures study material, tension and movement. Tatras adds dresses, skirts, pants, knitwear and light layers, creating a complete wardrobe for movement in different environments.
Waxed technical cottons create a protective surface. Matte ultralight nylons keep the pieces light and sharp. Ripstop silks bring fluidity, while cotton jacquards and cotton linens add natural texture. 3D cotton stripes introduce depth, giving the surface a stronger physical presence.
Tatras also works with lightweight lining, dyed cotton garments and technical three-layer constructions. These elements support performance while keeping the collection light in feel and look. The brand uses technical development as a way to shape function, volume and comfort without losing the composition of the visual direction.
Air bedding appears with technical shells. Fluid silhouettes meet structured outerwear. Natural textures sit next to performance fabrics. Rope-inspired details add another layer, connecting utility, containment and the language of sailing.
