AMIRI presents the men’s and women’s collection Spring Summer 2027 with the title American Pleasureslooking at Los Angeles after dark as a scene of desire, seduction and self-invention. Mike Amiri builds the season around an American attitude shaped by glamour, soft fit and modern sophistication. The collection moves from Malibu at sunset to Beverly Hills at midnight, reading the city through private interiors, hotel bars, clubs and Hollywood nights.
The collection takes cues from American Gigolothe 1980 film that gives AMIRI another lens for his cinematic view of Los Angeles. After dark, the city changes character. Changes in location allow for changes in identity, a transition from casual dress to formal attire, from public presence to private meeting. AMIRI uses this movement to create a wardrobe for nocturnal figures who dress with instinct, desire and control.
AMIRI brings casual wear into touch with the occasion, allowing the two to share the same space. Denim appears with tailored blazers, while houndstooth and herringbone meet pattern and embroidery. The collection treats clothing as part of a personal ceremony, where refinement comes through proportion, texture and attitude.
Shoulders gently slope and jackets move with flowing lines. The silhouettes avoid stiffness, giving the wearer a sense of movement. AMIRI uses this approach to frame a tension between seduction and sophistication, translating the mood of Los Angeles nightlife into clothes with a glossy, sensual charge.
Laminated surfaces capture the glow of moonlight, while silk and linen appear with lurex. Classic suiting materials such as tweed, glen check and metallic stripes are given a subtle iridescent finish. AMIRI plays down the embellishment and lets the materials carry the shine. Ombre beaded bow ties hang open, signifying a night that’s over or a night still waiting to begin.
Color follows the same post-dark logic. Moonlight tones meet neon flashes, with poison green, burnt sunset and lavender in silver, gold, espresso, smoke and midnight navy.
The inner haunts of Hollywood also shape the decorative language of the collection. AMIRI looks at Formosa Cafe, Grauman’s Chinese and secluded mansions hidden in the hills. Zebra patterns, lacquered finishes and American and Asian inspired embroideries make their way into the garments through this reference. The set design in the Carreau du Temple brings this Hollywood mood to Paris by day.
AMIRI presents Biscotto, a soft bag with sophisticated gold tone material. Its folded shape is reminiscent of a fortune cookie and the design comes in two sizes with leather, chain and crystal treatments.
The show also debuts AMIRI’s collaboration with Spinelli Kilcollinthe jewelry brand founded by Yves Spinelli and Dwyer Kilcollin. The collaboration marks AMIRI’s first foray into fine jewelry and brings together two West Coast luxury brands.
