The North face and Cecily Bahnsen present their third collaboration, which debuted during the designer Exhibition Spring Summer 2026 in Paris. The collection develops a modular approach to performance wear, focusing on adaptability in form, function and everyday use. Designed for warmer conditions, the pieces shift towards lighter construction and a more instinctive way of dressing.

Bahnsen refines technical garments through softer construction and adjustable shapes. Each piece allows for transformation through layering and structural changes, introducing variations to a single design. This approach brings a different reading to performance wear, where utility remains intact while the visual language shifts towards a more fluid expression.
Cecilie Bahnsen explains that the collaboration has reached a point of alignment, with the season being shaped by a sense of lightness in both construction and demeanor, expressed through pieces that adapt to the wearer while maintaining intimacy, ease and precision.
The collection is created through modular construction. A floral-print ripstop jacket features zip-up sleeves that turn into a vest, while matching pants turn into shorts. The floral pattern appears in the wider Spring Summer 2026 collection, linking the collaboration to Bahnsen’s seasonal production. A second group introduces embossed ripstop in olive tones, applied to a sweater with a nipped waist and a long hybrid coat shaped through a softer silhouette.
Accessories extend this approach through structural contrast. A reconstructed backpack takes on a more architectural form, changing its proportions while maintaining its original function. The Maria clutch appears in white ripstop, finished with a flower-shaped carabiner that introduces a delicate detail to a technical form. The footwear completes the line through a single design, the shandal, which combines sandal and shoe elements and features Bahnsen’s floral appliqué.
The seven-piece release includes the Marlowe Pullover Wind Jacket, Emma Long Wind Jacket, Tenzin Convertible Jacket, Carla Convertible Pant, Anna Base Camp Duffel, Maria Translucent Base Camp Clutch and TNF x CB Saçdal. Each piece appears in Forest Night Green, with the footwear also incorporating TNF White.
The campaign, photographed by Helen Fedorsfeatures The North Face athlete Angie Scarth-Johnson. The setting follows the route between Bergen and Finse, where the surrounding Norwegian terrain frames the collection. The images are drawn from the anticipation of travel and the moments leading up to a climb, focusing on transition and preparation.
The North Face x Cecilie Bahnsen Spring Summer 2026 collaboration launches on Thursday, March 26. The collection will be available through ceciliebahnsen.com, thenorthface.com, select The North Face stores and a limited group of retail partners.
