Netflix released the first trailer and new images for The Gentlemen Season 2confirming a September 3 premiere. The shots are reunited Theo James as Eddie Horniman and Kaya Scodelario as Susie Glass, while Ray Winstone, Joel Richardson and Vinnie Jones they also return. The preview also features Lake Maggiore, where part of the new season takes place.

Season 2 picks up a year after Eddie and Susie join forces in Bobby Glass’s criminal empire overseas. The pair now run together, but Bobby’s increasingly unsound decisions threaten the business. Eddie and Susie must decide whether to step in or risk losing everything they’ve built.
The trailer shows their business arriving in Italy, where they are based near Lake Maggiore. Executive producer and co-writer Matthew Read describes Eddie as “extremely ambitious” and says he wants more power. This ambition draws him deeper into criminal dealings and tests the alliances around him.
Their Italian venture brings Eddie and Susie into contact with Marco Moretti, a powerful crime boss. Sergio Castellitto takes on the role and Read describes the character as “extremely ruthless and stylish”. Michele Morrone joins the cast as Cico Maldini, a shifty repairman who helps the couple run their business in Italy. Read warns that Cico gives them little reason to trust.
Eddie also raises his profile in the legal establishment. His growing appetite for status puts further strain on his partnership with Susie and forces him to consider how much he might sacrifice in pursuit of his influence. The season follows the couple through dangerous negotiations, betrayals and fights over money and power.
Read says Eddie and Susie share a strong bond, although their motivations often pull them in different directions. The writers test this bond with a series of obstacles while keeping their affection visible throughout the season.
Daniel Ings, Jasmine Blackborow, Michael Vu, Harry Goodwins, Ruby Sear, Pearce Quigley and Giancarlo Esposito return for the new episodes. Hugh Bonneville, Benjamin Clementine, Benedetta Porcaroli, Amra Mallassi and Tyler Conti join the cast. British professional boxer Chris Eubank Jr. and operator and businesswoman Maya Jama also appear in Season 2.
Guy Ritchie created the series and wrote the season with Matthew Read. Ritchie and Eran Creevy are directing the eight episodes. Richie is also an executive producer alongside Will Gould, Read, Frith Tiplady, Simon Crawford Collins and Ivan Atkinson. Laura Jackson and Max Keene are producers. Moonage Pictures, part of ITV Studios, and Miramax Television are producing the series for Netflix.
The Gentlemen first arrived in March 2024 and quickly gained a large international audience. Season 1 reached Netflix’s global Top 10 in more than 90 countries and took the top spot in 75. Netflix reports that the series has generated 100 million views worldwide between 2024 and 2025.
The Gentlemen Season 2 consists of eight 60-minute episodes and premieres exclusively on Netflix on September 3.
