News arrives in the home appliance market that will be talked about for a long time: Xiaomi has launched the new Mijia Top Load 10 kg washing machine in China at a price of just 799 yuan, equal to just over 100 euros at the current exchange rate.
An almost unbelievable figure for a device of this capacity, which usually reaches much higher figures even in the cheapest series.
True to its philosophy of making technology accessible to all, the Chinese giant once again aims to stun the market by combining an aggressive price with respectable smart features. A proposal that redefines the boundaries of value for money in the laundry industry.
Large family capacity at entry price
The most impressive feature of this washing machine is not only the price, but the generous load capacity. The 10kg basket is enough to easily cover the needs of a large family and can hold up to 45 t-shirts, eight tracksuits or several bedding sets. Compatibility with the HyperOS Connect ecosystem and XiaoAI voice assistant turns this washing machine into a real home appliance of the futureable to communicate with other smart devices in the home. In the area of energy efficiency, Xiaomi claims a reduction in water consumption of up to 26% and electricity consumption of up to 7% compared to previous generations, thanks to an intelligent management system that automatically adapts the washing cycle to the load.
All with a class 1 energy efficiency level, the maximum required by local standards. At the moment, the product is only available in China, but considering Xiaomi’s growing expansion in the European home appliance market, a possible sale in Italy in the coming months cannot be ruled out.
