Gentle monster unveiled the second design from its upcoming smart glasses collection, offering another preview of the brand’s collaboration with Google and Samsung Electronics ahead of the collection’s full release later this fall.
The collection marks Gentle Monster’s first venture into smart glasses, combining the label’s signature optical design with built-in technology that supports everyday wear. Built with Google and Samsung, the glasses integrate audio, cameras, microphones and Google Gemini into an intimate visual silhouette, allowing users to interact through natural voice commands while remaining engaged with their environment.
Following the first design shown earlier this year, the latest reveal features a clean square visual frame that takes a more restrained approach. The silhouette extends Gentle Monster’s established design language into a versatile everyday style, while maintaining the collection’s focus on incorporating advanced technology into wearable accessories.
The new campaign features Alex Consani and Anok Yai, offering another look at the fashion direction behind the collection ahead of its official launch. Captured by Éamonn Zeel Freel, the images place the smart glasses within Gentle Monster’s established visual identity, while introducing a new product category for the brand.
The smart glasses connect to Android devices, including Samsung Galaxy and Google Pixel smartphones, as well as the Apple iPhone through a companion app. Users can control the glasses via voice commands, enabling a range of hands-free functions without relying on a screen.
Built-in speakers, microphones, and a built-in camera support music playback, voice calls, photography, and interaction with Google Gemini. The collection also includes real-time translation, navigation, contextual assistance and visualization, giving users access to information as they go about daily life.
Designed for extended daily use, the lightweight frames offer up to nine hours of battery life on a single charge. The included charging case provides seven or more additional full charges, extending use throughout the day.
Gentle Monster plans to unveil its full collection of smart glasses later this fall, following the release of the two designs revealed so far. The launch marks a new direction for the brand as it expands beyond traditional glasses into connected wearable technology through partnerships with Google and Samsung.
