
Agua by Agua Bendita and Merchant they bring a truly different kind of summer destination to the Hamptons. This August, the two brands are working together as co-organizers Marchanta Out Easta month-long luxury retail and cultural experience that runs August 4 to September 8 at 62 Newton Lane in East Hampton. Rather than a typical pop-up, it’s a carefully curated collection of Latin American fashion, fragrance, home and design, orchestrated by Raelyn Diazits founder and creative director Merchant.
What sets it apart from typical Hamptons retail is the purposefulness of the community it brings together. The lineup includes Where Stefanos, Monica Varela, Arthur Wallin, Parma Marin, Aedes de Venustas, Marmotechand Rate Zerothe specialty coffee experience that adds a layer of hospitality often missing from seasonal retail. These are not random names chosen for prestige. Each manufacturer and design house shares a commitment to Latin American craftsmanship, storytelling and the kind of contemporary design that transcends trends.

Founded in 2018 by Catalina Alvarez and Mariana Hinestroza, Agua by Agua Bendita is rooted in more than 20 years of design and entrepreneurship. The brand builds its identity around hand-illustrated botanical prints, intricate embroideries and timeless resorts that balance romantic silhouettes with conscious luxury. All are designed and manufactured in Colombia, combining artisanal techniques with natural and recycled materials. The collections celebrate the extraordinary biodiversity of the region, while showcasing the skilled artisans whose work is at the heart of the brand.

Merchantfounded by Raelyn Diaz in the Dominican Republic, it takes a different but complementary approach. As the Caribbean’s first luxury craft and fragrance house, it creates collectible sculptures and fragrances inspired by Caribbean landscapes, memories and cultural richness. The brand works closely with local artisans while collaborating with renowned perfume makers in Grasse, France, fusing heritage with contemporary design through scent and form.

The pop-up is designed as a gathering place for design enthusiasts, collectors and the fashion community. Throughout August, Marchanta Out East will host a series of intimate events and cultural programs, offering visitors the opportunity to experience Latin American creativity in many mediums, from clothing and fragrance to sculpture and coffee.
