adidas Originals and Coca-Cola Team Up for the 2026 FIFA World Cup

Adidas Originals and Coca-Cola® reunite with a collective collection created for FIFA WORLD CUP 2026™which is released on June 6. The launch brings the two brands back 24 years after their first collaboration at the 2002 World Cup, connecting football’s biggest stage with adidas 2000 silhouettes, Coca-Cola® graphics and a new campaign featuring Lamine Yamal.

The collection draws from adidas’ archival designs and updates them with Coca-Cola® references through colour, graphics and product details. adidas Originals and Coca-Cola® shape the range around the street style and classic sports looks of the 2000s, creating a full range of clothing, footwear and accessories. The project returns to the relationship the two brands began in 2002, using the FIFA WORLD CUP 2026™ as the backdrop for their latest release.

Footwear gives the partnership the strongest focus product. The series features Coca-Cola® inspired versions of four adidas silhouettes from the 2000s: Adistar Control 5, Predator Hall, Climacool 1 and Megaride F50. Each pair references a different Coca-Cola® can and uses droplet details. The Megaride F50 follows a distinct Coca-Cola® reference, paying homage to the brand’s glass bottle.

The clothing and accessories line includes collaborative tracksuits, jerseys, shorts and tees, along with a bright red aviator bag. adidas Originals and Coca-Cola® split the collection into two visual directions. One part uses logo graphics, while the other draws on a vintage aesthetic. A jersey brings this approach into one piece, combining Coca-Cola® advertising from different eras into a new football design.

The campaign is titled “Prototypes are the real thing”, connecting adidas Originals with one of Coca-Cola®’s most recognizable catchphrases. Lamine Yamal appears among a group of original characters waiting for a bus to the FIFA WORLD CUP 2026™. The setting gives the campaign an everyday scene filled with football anticipation, while the cast reflects the concept of originality® and Codida-cacol.
