Aimé Leon Dore reunites with New balance for a limited edition SS26 Performance running capsule designed for summer training and the run-up to fall competition. The collection combines New Balance’s running technology Teddy Santis design direction in footwear, technical clothing, outerwear and accessories.
The footwear offering focuses on two performance silhouettes. The FuelCell Rebel v5 comes in deep Cobalt Blue with collaborative branding and construction meant for everyday training. The FuelCell SC Elite v5 takes a more racing-focused approach, appearing in a green gradient colorway that transitions into a black midsole.

Blue and orange lead the way in the broader color palette, connecting the capsule to New York and the long preparation associated with the city’s marathon and other important autumn events. Aimé Leon Dore translates this reference through functional pieces shaped around movements, endurance and training routines.
The apparel line includes technical bindings designed to work on daily runs and race prep. One of the core elements of the collection, the Running Utility Vest, comes equipped with two Hydrapak SoftFlasks, putting hydration directly into the garment and giving the piece a practical role during longer sessions.

The capsule continues Aimé Leon Dore’s ongoing work with New Balance, though this version places a greater emphasis on performance than many of the collaboration’s lifestyle-based drops. Shoes, outerwear and accessories share a utilitarian direction, while the restrained color scheme keeps the collection visually consistent.
The full Aimé Leon Dore x New Balance Performance Running Capsule releases on July 9th at 11am. ET via Aimé Leon Dore’s website and flagship stores. New Balance will follow with a wider release of the FuelCell Rebel v5 and FuelCell SC Elite v5 on July 16th.
