Design inspiration: Glam living room decoration
Eclectic glam living rooms are characterized by the combinations of various elements that create a coherent but shiny appearance. The ample inspiration gallery provided by the client clearly expressed his love for style.
It featured opulent interiors dressed in luxurious fabrics, metallic accents and glass decor, with each piece adding its own distinct touch of glamour. All rooms felt comfortable and welcoming while maintaining an air of elegance.
Basic concepts: Finding the right designer

It was hard to say which of the two moodboards was more current. Each featured a genuine blend of different styles and eras, with an emphasis on luxury and glamour. In addition, both focused on antiques, vintage-inspired furniture and luxurious fabrics. However, the decision had to be made, so the client chose the solution he suggested Marine H.
Marine’s visual interpretation of the client’s wishes was unique, elegant living space. He incorporated many different textures to convey a sense of elegance and depth. Velvet, leather, brass and different types of wood were just some of the materials used on the concept board. Meanwhile, some carefully selected features took care of the functional side of the room.
Results Revealed: Eclectic Glam Interior Design
Marine’s goal to create a welcoming, comfortable, functional and stylish space was crowned with success. She mostly stayed within the confines of a neutral glam, infusing it with contrasting accent details and a few pops of saturated color. A range of fabrics includes an eclectic carpet and mixed selection of armchair upholstery, all with rich tactile layers.
The original room was empty and neutral – ready for a dramatic flare. While the client was careful to make it too bold, he also understood the need to enliven the space that receives little natural light. Incorporating glam living room decor, the designer achieved a perfectly balanced aesthetic ready to host friends and family.
Meanwhile, the strategic layering continued in the window treatments. Navy luxury olive green velvet curtains over a set of light and airy sheer. As a result, homeowners can now easily control the light coming into the room and set the mood as they wish.
The practical drum coffee table and sculptural side tables offer enough surface to set drinks or put down a book. Meanwhile, a substantial credenza spans the wall, also providing some much-needed enclosed storage. Finally, adding some finishing touches like potted plants, candles and vases made the space feel more walkable.
Attention to detail
A stylish trefoil-shaped bar cart elevates the room’s fun function, displaying drinks on display while keeping them within easy reach. At the same time, its bronze finish complements the wall sconces and chandelier, further enhancing the overall glam factor. The sculptural quality of the fixtures perfectly matches the large work of abstract art. As a result, the room was not short on visual appeal.
