They are often very coated because we never go through it because of the effort we have to do but here we come to your rescue with an easy, economical and no tiring method.

Let’s go in order. Why are grills so hard to clean? Not only do you not want to do it but they are difficult to handle and bulky.

And then the fat stops decisively. Very often we start with their precise cleaning and then proceed to significant corrosive foams that affect both our wallet and the environment. So what is the solution we can implement?

The idea is to move into the bathroom. Yes, you read that right, except that here we have a container that allows us to wash them effortlessly, obviously we are talking about the bathtub.

We place sheets under them so as not to damage the tub and make sure they are stable. What do we need? A mixture of warm water, which softens all the residue, baking soda which helps us to remove the dirt without scratching and dish detergent which removes everything.

We recommend a solution of 150 grams of bicarbonate, 50 ml of dishwashing detergent and plenty of water. Now let it act for about 30 minutes and then the dirt will be removed by itself. If there are crusts, we can let it soak for a few hours or, if we want, all night.

Then wipe with a soft sponge and the dirt will soften. Rinse with water to remove detergent and baking soda. Then dry with a clean cloth and the oven racks will be like new.

Obviously, this cleaning step should not be done every week but once every one or two months. Little tips. Grills inside steel they have no problem with this treatment, with different materials you always make one try first at the bottom of the grid where you can’t see it.
