immersive exhibition of wood, stone and ceramic shape “renaissance”.
SM Bureau presents “Rebirth” on Paris as a spatial composition of a collection design, where the objects in wood, stoneand ceramic define the space they live in. THE report explores how material and light interact to create atmosphere and perception. Rather than a conventional depiction, the work has been conceived as a built environment, where each piece functions as part of a larger spatial system. Furniture, sculptural objects and wall works are placed with attention to proportion, spacing and alignment, creating a quiet and immersive environment between stoa and interior. Material transformation is at the core of the exhibition. Stone is cut into planes that retain traces of extraction, wood reveals its natural growth and irregularities, while ceramic surfaces expand, crack or crystallize during firing. These processes remain visible, allowing each object to carry the memory of its construction.

After its first presentation at Collectible Brussels, the Paris chapter of the “Renaissance” unfolds in a more restrained and architectural manner, where spatial relations become central to the reading of the work. Through this approach, design studio SM Bureau proposes a view of collectible design not as individual objects, but as a language capable of shaping space, atmosphere and experience. The artists who participated in the exhibition are: Adrian Salvador Candela, Aude Bray-Deperne, Cengiz Hartmann, Christina Schou Christensen, Daniëlle van Lunteren, Eduardo Nardi, Eichkorn, Frederic Imbert, Gabrielle Gobeaud Bianco, India Leire, Jamie Gauntzo, Joyers Kanewa, Laura Giudice, Morgane Pasqualini, Natura Ceramica, Pascale Zintzen, Philipp Moritz, Ptystavka, Sheyang Li, Studio Torbina, Thomas Junghans, Tina Marie Cph, Ulrike Zerzer.
