Sanderlak present document Year 02: Netherlands, Collection IIIa collection that marks the next stage of her ongoing work built through space. After two Los Angeles-centric collections, Sanderlak turns her attention to the Netherlands. The move opens Chapter 2 of the brand’s location-based structure, following Chapter 1 in Los Angeles. This first chapter unfolded through two separate collections, one fashioned from bleached daylight and another from artificial night color. Holland brings a different rhythm, mood and visual record.
For Sander LuckHolland has personal meaning, although the brand doesn’t treat the place as strictly autobiographical. Each location acts as a set of materials for the imagination: color, texture, cultural memory and visual fragments become garments designed to travel beyond a geography. Holland enters the work as a source of tension, clarity and contradiction.

The collection treats the Netherlands as a place of openness and restriction. It is drawn from vast skies, cool blues, whites and the intense power of the national orange. Green pastures, grazing cows and soft floral tones enter the palette, while wet reflective surfaces shift the sense of light. The fabrics follow this mood through glossy and textured finishes reminiscent of rain on glass.
Tulips, checks, wallpaper patterns, wooden shoes and velvet stripes appear with an instinctive logic, as if one dresses by memory rather than strict coordination. The collection allows these elements to combine naturally, giving the wardrobe a personal and slightly random character.

The wider field of reference covers Dutch culture, film, art, sport and public life. Sanderlak mentions Jan Cremer, Turkish delight, Rutger Hauer, Dutch flower gardens, Paul Verhoeven, Halina Reijn, Ajax, Marwan Kenzari, Hans Eijkelboom, Vermeer, Rineke Dijkstra and Willem de Kooning.
The brand continues from the founding belief that color does not need performance. People can wear it naturally, without drama or explanation. In Year 02: Holland, Collection III, this idea is shaped through cool skies, orange intensity, green fields, floral notes and reflective surfaces.

Sanderlak created the lookbook in Vught, where Sander spent part of his childhood. Anita Bitton assembled a Dutch cast that combines models with local personalities and talent. The team includes influencer Valentijn Dijkman, fashion designer Sjaak Hullekes, editor-in-chief Gert Jonkers, accessory designer Eefje Frankenhuis, a girl discovered in the neighborhood, and Sander’s mother Marjan Lak.
