In fact, they love dark, cramped and super quiet places. The points most at risk? Always under the sink, or behind the refrigerator, on slightly loose baseboards or in the areas around pipes. Obviously, if you see any cracks, seal them with putty or sealant.

The last place they love is places with a lot of moisture, then into the bathroom and behind the furniture. Not to mention under the sink, or next to the shower basin, or in the cabinets hanging on the wall. In this case, be careful and if there are small water leaks, let’s fix them.

Always change the air after showering or hanging clothes, always dry if water forms near bathroom fixtures, and move light furniture to dry.

We also recommend some small treatments which always work and are not expensive. We’re talking about placing bay leaves in the most at-risk areas or spraying a solution of vinegar and peppermint in places you think cockroaches might get into.
