This is Copenhagen presents the Pre Autumn Winter 2026 collection titled REGIONbuilding the season around football culture and the mythology associated with the players. Creative director Jannik Wikkelsø Davidsen he draws from his experience growing up around football culture, focusing on how fans collect objects and give them meaning over time. Shirts, cards and posters become markers of identity and the collection brings these references into a fashion context where their role changes.
PRE-FALL 2026 COLLECTIONS
DISTRIKT focuses on the rituals associated with collecting and the emotional charge that follows. Garments take on a dual function as pieces of clothing and objects with stored associations. Han Kjøbenhavn extends the concept in the retail direction, where the presentation reflects systems known from sports memorabilia. An oversized nine-pocket collectible card translates sports card formats into campaign imagery and artwork, while a postcard carousel showcases DISTRIKT 37 graphics alongside original graphics.

Davidson eschews the comfort of nostalgia and instead calls attention to how past references resurface in ways that feel unresolved. The collection reflects this perspective through the treatment of familiar symbols, shifting them into a new environment without diluting their original associations.
The silhouettes continue in the brand’s established line, combining structure with a relaxed fit. Outerwear defines the collection, led by the Diamond Twill Coat in water-resistant cotton twill and the Distrikt Bomber Jacket with quilted lining and seasonal embroidery. Leather remains prominent through the Crunch Leather Biker Jacket and matching trousers, while the Casual Leather Bomber introduces a cleaner option in the same category.

Technical garments bring function to the fore. The Crest Windbreaker and lightweight Technical Anorak introduce performance-based elements, while knits and sweats maintain large, dropped-shoulder proportions. Bouclé logo knits, neoprene hoods and crewnecks reinforce this trend. Pants take a utility-driven approach through washed denim and cargo styles, grounding the collection in everyday wear.
The graphics focus on the Danish football figure Ivan Nielsen, translating his presence into digital prints ranging from artwork to portrait images. These designs appear on garments made in open-thread single jersey, creating a washed-out, vintage surface. Relaxed and oversized compositions keep the graphics cohesive.

The palette is based on black, dusty browns, dark grays and soft greens, enhancing the uniform tone of the collection. DISTRIKT continues Han Kjøbenhavn’s ongoing focus on repetition and everyday wear, presenting clothing shaped by routine and memory.
The collection will be available online and in stores throughout April 2026.
