The Triangle marks the latest addition to Jordan Brand’s line of basketball shoes. It also becomes the second Jordan performance model to receive a special NY vs. NY. Jordan Brand previously debuted a NY vs. NY version of the Luka 77 at Dyckman last year, where the shoe received a strong response.

For the remainder of the 2026 tournament, players from Zone 6 and the Dyckman Girls will wear the Jordan Triangle NY vs. NY during the game. Their participation places the shoe on courts that continue to shape New York basketball culture. Jordan Brand will release the colorway on July 28, 2026, through Foot Locker stores throughout New York, where fans can purchase it exclusively.
Jordan Brand created the Triangle as a low-cut performance shoe for players at every level and in every role. The model targets the demands of the running game through explosive energy return, lasting comfort, traction and support. Its name refers to the triangle offense, a system that emphasizes activity away from the ball and contributions from every player on the floor.

The cushioning arrangement combines two Nike technologies. ZoomX foam fills the forefoot, while Air Zoom supports the heel. This dual system helps generate energy during explosive actions and provides stability and protection when players land. A Cushlon 3.0 carrier adds a soft, responsive feel underfoot, while an injection molding reinforces the midfoot during cut and change of direction.
Low profile construction brings athletes closer to the floor and creates a direct court feel. Jordan Brand also uses a carbon fiber inspired knit upper to provide breathability, strength and stability. Ventilated construction helps players stay fresh during extended playtime.

Underfoot, a full-body Hart Rubber 2.0 herringbone outsole provides traction on both ends of the floor. Jordan Brand uses this outsole pattern on all of its basketball shoes, and the Triangle applies it to quick cuts, changes of direction, and two-way play.
Jordan Brand developed the Triangle through athlete feedback and focused every element on the physical demands of the extended game. The company first released the model in three colorways on July 2, 2026. The NY vs. NY follows later in the month and links the new silhouette to New York’s summer tournament schedule, local rivals and outdoor basketball tradition.
