N21 Resort 2027 examines feminine and masculine codes in womenswear through direct combinations of materials, shapes and construction. Alessandro Dell’Acqua places lace, embroidery, satin, moiré, tulle, transparency and drapery next to canvas, leather, opaque fabrics and larger volumes. The collection treats these elements as equal parts of a wardrobe, using contrast to create tension in outerwear, dresses, separates and accessories.
Dell’Acqua approaches well-known decorative techniques with a sharper purpose. Lace belts erase the bodice of the blouses, pullover hems and inlaid lace form graphic patterns on the skirts. These details hold their own alongside stronger menswear references, including cabana jackets, sailor pockets, striped shirts and leather-lined outerwear. The designer gives feminine elements a clear role in each look, allowing them to remain visible even when heavier fabrics and structured clothing enter the styling.

Canvas bell jackets introduce a solid foundation, while printed nylon appears in anoraks and long dresses. Poplin, tulle, lace and lingerie fabrics add lighter surfaces throughout the composition. N21 shifts between these materials without reducing either side of the collection.
Underwear references appear through tops with lace ribbons placed across the bust. N21 pairs these pieces with silk skirts and canvas bells, creating a direct conversation between delicacy and utility. Satin moiré coats are layered over linen trousers and a silk T-shirt, extending the same approach through polished surfaces and relaxed separates. Silk tulle skirts are embroidered with large sequins and appear with men’s striped cotton shirts, giving the evening materials a less formal context.

Inset lace defines the collection’s black and white skirts. The construction creates a faux tartan pattern, bringing a familiar menswear motif to a traditionally feminine material. Dell’Acqua pairs skirts with faille shorts and striped polo shirts.
Heavy hand-knit cotton pullovers provide some of the bulk in the collection. Their thick texture creates a strong response to chiffon kaftan dresses, which introduce movement and transparency. Kaftans also appear with canvas bells finished with leather collars.

The final evening look takes the form of a polka dot embossed lace dress. Subtle pastel shades accompany the floral prints in sky blue, white and black, bringing a softer color to the closure. The palette supports the collection’s use of lace and sheer fabrics, while maintaining the sheer graphic quality established through stripes, faux tartan and printed nylon.
Accessories continue to emphasize everyday use. N21 features skinny high-heeled clogs, slingbacks, strappy sandals in contrasting colors and ballerina flats finished with petals. Each style supports the movement of the collection between practical clothes and decorative details.
