Nigel Sylvester sets the pace for his upcoming Air Jordan 4 “Brick After Brick” release with a rollout that extends beyond the footwear. THE BMX pro and Jordan Brand enter a multi-layered project that connects physical installation, digital interaction and product release. With the sneaker expected to arrive next month, the campaign is building anticipation through a series of coordinated releases.

At the center of the traffic is a facility in New York “The burden of progress”. Located outside jeweler Greg Yuna’s Mulberry Street storefront, the work features a black BMW crushed under a massive brick sculpture. The piece immediately catches the eye through its scale and detail. Artist based in New York Refrigerator created the sculpture, fashioning a 500-pound form that rests directly on the car. The surrounding scene includes scattered glass and a “BAR SPIN” sink plate.

Sylvester frames the installation as a reflection of his own journey. He describes the brick as a symbol of the victories, challenges and obstacles associated with achieving goals and maintaining success. The message ties directly into the larger concept behind collaboration, where progress requires consistency and discipline. Fridge approaches the piece with a similar focus, describing the process as a shared exchange based on their New York backgrounds. He constructed the sculpture from foam, shaped it by hand and finished it using CNC techniques. The surface incorporates color mixed with sand and stones, giving the object a dense, tactile quality that aligns with its concept.

The installation is extended to digital form through the Brick after brick mobile game. Inspired by Tetristhe game invites users to engage with the same topics presented in physical work. Players access the game through both desktop and mobile devices, where performance depends on consistency and timing. For the next three weeks, each week’s top scorer will receive a free pair of the Nigel Sylvester x Air Jordan 4 “Brick After Brick” before its official release. The game also directs users to the Nigel Sylvester website where they can track updates related to the collaboration.

This release follows Sylvester’s previous Air Jordan 4 “Brick After Brick,” a brick-colored version introduced last year that garnered strong acclaim and ranked among the most talked-about sneakers of 2025. Early reactions suggest that the new iteration will generate similar interest. The Nigel Sylvester x Air Jordan 4 Retro OG SP “Brick After Brick” has yet to receive a confirmed release date. Current expectations point to a May launch, with a retail price of $230. The sneaker will be available through Nike’s SNKRS app, the Nigel Sylvester website and select Jordan Brand retailers.
