WEST Paris Spring Summer 2027 begins with heat, city light and the image of young men occupying spaces left behind. The collection looks like a June atmosphere shaped by photos from New York Stanley Stellar and Alvin Baltropwhere abandoned piers and construction sites became places for sun, meetings, recreation and private forms of freedom. Their subjects wore a straight outfit: jeans, athletic shorts, and fitted T-shirts.

The Paris report is coming Philippe Heurtaultwhose pictures moved between Le Palace and La Main Bleue. In these rooms, “clones” and fashion figures shared the same charged air. The attitude matched New York in its relaxedness and openness, yet it also carried the quiet pressure of the years before the AIDS crisis.

Claude Montana is a central figure in the thinking of the collection. He took the clone suit and pushed it into tailoring territory thanks to color, sharpness and power. His own look centered around colorful bomber jackets and leather pants, while his work and personal style drew on Americana and denim. The presence of the designer remained alive for the founder of OUEST Paris Arthur Robertwho remembers seeing Montana on Rue Saint-Honoré some fifteen years ago, at the beginning of his own design career.

OUEST Paris returns to workwear, a language the brand has already built through rugged utility pieces, rivets and Western-style lettering. For Spring Summer 2027, these codes change to the pastel color. The movement changes the pressure of the garments without taking away their strength. Heavy reports become lighter. Utility softens. Masculinity opens up to another reading.

At a time when expressions of masculinity seem to be hardening around the world, OUEST Paris treats pastel shades as an act of resistance. The option does not erase the hardness of the base of work clothes. It redirects it. Pieces with rivets, western markings and utilitarian shapes remain present, yet the palette subverts their usual associations.

OUEST Paris Spring Summer 2027 connects multiple visual stories without flattening them. New York pier culture, Paris nightlife, the clone outfit, Claude Montana’s personal mythology and the brand’s own workwear codes are elements of the collection.
