Pedro Pascal joins Chanel as New House Ambassador

Chanel has set Pedro Pascal as the youngest Ambassador of the Parliament. The Chilean-American actor, recognized for his work in film, television and theater, joins the French fashion house under the creative direction of Matthew Blazey.

Pascal has built a career that ranges from prestige television to film and theater. His roles in The Last of Us, The Mandalorian, Fantastic Four, Eddingtonand Night covers drama, action and science fiction. The upcoming Behemoth! promises to bring another transformative turn. Off screen, Pascal was a longtime supporter Doctors Without Bordersco-organized by Artists for Aid benefit concert in Los Angeles in January 2026, raising $5.5 million for humanitarian aid in Palestine and Sudan, and has publicly supported the LGBTQ+ community. Chanel points to his charisma, humor and genuine ability to bring people together as qualities that make him a natural fit for the house.

Pascal said he finds Blazy’s vision powerful, elegant and warm, and that the creative universe Blazy has built feels like one where there’s something for everyone. She described joining the house as a joy and an honor, and said she can’t wait to see where Blazy will go at Chanel. Pascal also noted that what attracts him to the house is its ability to remain modern and relevant without leaving behind its history, which he said really excites him to be a part of what comes next.

Blazy said that Pascal is a wonderful person and an incredible actor, and that his kindness, talent and outlook on the world are both endearing and inspiring. Blazy added that he is happy to start this new chapter together and that welcoming Pascal to the Chanel family is a natural next step.

Last October, Pascal attended Blazy’s first Chanel collection, the Exhibition Spring Summer 2026 held at the Grand Palais in Paris. A few months later, at the 98th Oscars in Los Angeles, he arrived dressed in Chanel. The appearance at one of the entertainment industry’s most popular annual events confirmed to a global audience that the relationship between Pascal and the house had taken on an official dimension.
