The pli office is hosting the Paris Design Week Exhibition Open Call
French publishing house and creative studio Pli office – his brainchild paf atelier founder Christopher Dessus – has launched an international open call for ‘Tout est Chaos’, a curated exhibition taking place from 10 to 13 September 2026 during Paris Planning week. The exhibition invites emerging designers, artists, architects, creators and multidisciplinary creators to submit objects and installations that respond to the theme of chaos: not as destruction, but as a generative force capable of revealing new forms, narratives and possibilities. The open call ends on 30 June 2026.

‘Tout est chaos’ as a platform for emerging creatives
Presented by office Pli‘Tout est Chaos’ aims to bring together a variety of contemporary works that challenge conventional ideas of order and function. The exhibition encourages participants to freely interpret the theme, whether through furniture, objects, material experimentation, collective design, installation or hybrid practices. Held at the historic La Gaîté Lyrique as part of Paris Design Week’s city-wide program, the exhibition offers selected participants the opportunity to present their work to an international audience of design professionals, curators, collectors, media and the general public.
This call is open to:
– Students in design, architecture and art
– New designers with less than 5 years of professional experience
Participation conditions:
– Submit 1 item per designer/studio/collection
– Complete the online registration form by June 30
– Choose from a list of phrases/slogans the one that best fits the approach and subject
– Pay the €6 registration fee
