PUMA revisits his archive through a collaboration with Danielle Guiziobringing it back Climb The silhouette was first introduced in 2003. The original design was drawn directly from climbing footwear, with a structure built for grip and contact. This return keeps that reference intact while shifting the shoe into a contemporary context shaped by material and finish.

Danielle Guizio, designer and CEO of her namesake company, approached the project with a clear starting point. It focused on functional properties rooted in climbing footwear, drawing attention to grounding and stability. The concept is based on a connection with the ground, transforming technical elements into a design suitable for everyday use. Guizio aimed to maintain the original structure while refining the format into something immediate and adaptable.

The design introduces premium leather with a slightly distressed surface, which refers to wear and tear over time. This finish adds depth to the shoe while keeping the construction in line with its functional origins. The palette leans towards earthy tones, creating an understated visual language that draws from the outside environment. Every detail supports a sense of balance between performance-driven design and everyday use.
PUMA continues to build on its archive through projects that revisit and interpret previous designs. This collaboration reflects that direction, showcasing a silhouette that has historical relevance while aligning with a current perspective. Guizio’s contribution introduces a distinct point of view, where material, function and style intersect in a single product.

The campaign shows Klim in a natural environment that reflects its origins. The snowy ground, open light and lush tones create a setting that echoes the references behind the design.
The PUMA x Danielle Guizio Klim releases on March 28, 2026. The sneaker will be available through danielleguiziony.com, the GUIZIO store in New York, PUMA.com, PUMA flagships and select retailers.
