Outdoor furniture is often photographed against nature, using it simply as a backdrop, but SambaIts latest campaign imagines its products as part of the landscape.
To show off Oasisthe modular outdoor seating system designed by Robin Rizzinithe Italian furniture brand traveled to La Cutura Botanical Garden in Apulia. Among towering succulents, rare cacti and lush tropical vegetation, photographer Piergiorgio Sorgetti captured the collection as if it had emerged from its surroundings. Rather than serving as a picturesque setting, the garden becomes an active participant in the story that reinforces the collection’s close relationship with the natural world.

This dialogue with nature extends beyond form. Cork side tables and built-in planters introduce vibrant greenery directly into the seating system, softening the boundaries between furniture and garden. Instead of treating plants as decorative accessories, plants become part of the composition.

The setting reinforces this idea at every turn. Spread over more than 80 hectares in the Salento countryside, the Giardino Botanico La Cutura houses one of southern Italy’s most important collections of cacti, succulents and tropical plants. Theme gardens unfold throughout the historic country estate. Its towering greenhouse, rock gardens and carefully cultivated landscapes provide an environment where Oasis it feels like an extension of the ecosystem.

The campaign continues an ongoing series in which Saba places its collections in architecturally and culturally significant locations, allowing each setting to shape the narrative around the design. Here, the La Cutura country estate offers more than visual drama—it provides a fitting context for a collection designed to evolve into everyday life.

Oasi shows how thoughtful product photography can do more than showcase a new collection. By placing the furniture in an environment that reflects its design philosophy, Saba transforms a traditional campaign into a reflection on the increasingly fluid relationship between design, landscape and well-being.
