solid Carrara marble sculpts abstract house-like objects

Kfir Galatia Azulay distills architecture into marble forms

Designed by architect, multidisciplinary designer and artist Kfir Galatia Azulay, Eternal Structures is a collection of architectural objects carved from solid white Carrara marble. Positioned at the intersection of architecture, contemporary art and collectible design, the series explores how architectural thinking can be expressed independently of buildings through form, proportion and material.

Instead of functioning as architectural models or conventional sculpturesmarble objects distill architecture to its essential spatial qualities. They do not refer to existing buildings or specific locations, but examine the relationships between mass and void, rhythm, proportion and balance. The compositions suggest fragments of fictional cities or archetypal architectural forms, allowing viewers to interpret the works without a fixed narrative.

Single blocks of designer collectibles in marble shape

Each object is carved from a single block of white Carrara marble, a material historically associated with architecture and sculpture. Here, Carrara marble is used on a domestic scale, introducing architectural qualities to interior environments rather than memorials. The natural veining of the stone ensures that each piece is unique, with each project being a distinct element in the ES1 – Eternal Structures Collection by designer Kfir Galatia Azulay.

Material weight is a defining aspect of the range. Unlike contemporary objects designed for light or temporary use, marble forms emphasize physical presence through their density and mass. Their architectural character is expressed through proportion, materiality and balance rather than ornamentation, allowing each object to create a measured relationship with its surroundings.

abstract objects create a vocabulary of architectural form

Occupying a position between architecture, art and collectible design, the works are intended for residential interiors, offices, galleries and private collections. Rather than dominating a space, they act as architectural objects that introduce a subtle spatial presence through scale, geometry and material.

The ES1 collection marks the beginning of an evolving series in which each object represents an individual architectural composition while contributing to a wider vocabulary of forms. Together, the works create an abstract landscape of relationships, reflecting Galatia Azulay’s ongoing exploration of architecture as a cultural language that extends beyond the scale of buildings to collectibles and contemporary art.
