McDonald’s and Devin Booker turn one of Arizona’s most recognizable fast food spots into a Win release with the Nike Book 2 McDonald’s. Arriving on June 2nd, the limited edition sneaker is inspired by the McDonald’s restaurant in Sedona, the world’s only location with turquoise Arches. For Booker, the reference connects his hometown roots, his McDonald’s All American past and the parts of Arizona that continue to shape his signature line with Nike.

The project gives McDonald’s a direct entry into basketball footwear through one of the NBA’s most popular sneaker lines. Booker has kept Arizona close to the history of the Nike Book, and this release brings that concept into a more intense cultural context.
Booker’s relationship with McDonald’s reaches back to the McDonald’s All American Games years and continued after the draft through his donation to the Ronald McDonald House of Central and Northern Arizona. The five-time All-Star connects the Nike Book 2 McDonald’s to that personal history while keeping the shoe within the Arizona references that guide his Nike signature line. For this release, Sedona gives the sneaker its primary source: a turquoise Arches McDonald’s location where Booker returns during the offseason.
The release arrives in Sanddrift and Teal Nebula, with Light British Tan, Red Stardust and Dusty Cactus rounding out the product’s color details. Nike places the Air Zoom unit in the forefoot, moving it from the heel for extra responsiveness when speeding past defenders. The updated midfoot mesh works with the molded upper to give the shoe stability for punctures and turns. A lighter upper compared to the Book 1 and a lower-to-the-court feel help players stay stable on hesitations and stride jumps. An ultra-durable rubber outsole gives the pair traction for outdoor courts.

The sneaker arrives on June 2nd via Nike.com, the Nike SNKRS app, the Nike app, participating sneaker retailers, and retail stores nationwide, priced at $155. McDonald’s and Nike are also hosting a one-day pop-up today giving fans a chance to purchase the shoe before the official release date.
