Win introduces a biped Kobe 11 Protro package for Mamba Day 2026. The outing coincides with April 13 marking Kobe Bryant’s final NBA game of 2016, when he scored 60 points against the Utah Jazz. The release marks the 10th anniversary of that performance and brings back the Kobe 11 in updated Protro form.

The package includes the Kobe 11 Protro Mamba Day and the Kobe 11 Elite Protro Fade to Black. Both pairs retain the low-cut structure introduced during Kobe’s final season while incorporating updated performance technology. Nike builds on the Protro concept first introduced in 2018, where Kobe Bryant pushed for retro models that perform at a current level on the court.

The Kobe 11 Protro Mamba Day comes in a black mesh construction with metallic gold numerology references on the upper. These graphics highlight important moments in Kobe’s career, including his 81-point game, five championships and 18 All-Star appearances.
The Elite Protro Fade to Black version takes a different direction while maintaining the same color palette. This pair features a black Flyknit upper with metallic gold accents. The concept is based on the exact Kobe 11 he wore during his last game.

Both pairs introduce updated cushioning via a foldable ReactX midsole, replacing the Lunarlon foam used in the original Kobe 11. Nike pairs this setup with an Air Zoom unit in the heel to provide responsive cushioning fit for the modern game. The outsole features a revised tread design that supports traction and court feel, aligning with the performance focus of the Protro range. Each edition includes a “2026” stamp on the back of the tongue, marking the anniversary edition and distinguishing the release from its 2016 predecessor.
The Kobe 11 holds a special place in Bryant’s signature line as the last model he wore during his NBA career. Designed by Eric Avar, the original Kobe 11 introduced a midsole system that emphasized lightweight construction and performance. The Protro update maintains this structure while incorporating current shock absorption technology.
Nike will release both pairs on April 13, 2026 through Nike and select online and in-store retailers. The Kobe 11 Protro Mamba Day retails for $220, while the Kobe 11 Elite Protro Fade to Black retails for $200.
