Maximum partners with Mike Kelley Foundation for the Arts and Trucks for a Spring Summer 2026 capsule featuring shoes, clothing and items. The collection is basically built around “ Mike KelleyTypes of memory” series of mosaics, with additional works such as “Pansy Metal / Clovered Hoof“and”Satan’s nostrilsApplies to clothing and footwear.
SNEAKERS
The footwear features two Vans silhouettes, the Half cabin and the Time. Each model comes in two colorways, resulting in four pairs. The Half Cab combines a canvas base with premium suede overlays, allowing artwork to appear beneath structured panels. The Era uses a full canvas upper, showcasing the artwork across the entire surface. Both models feature leather lining and leather insoles, along with a vulcanized waffle outsole. Each pair features a custom heel tag and embroidered Supreme text in gothic lettering on the heel.
The outsole uses a higher grip rubber compound with a studded lug pattern for improved ground contact. A heel impact pad wraps the outsole in the rear, helping to absorb shock during wear. The tongue-to-toe lacing creates a secure fit that closely follows the foot. These elements align the footwear with both skate and everyday wear.
The sneakers also feature a pre-distressed finish, introducing scratches from the start to create a worn look. This treatment is visually linked to the layered quality of Kelley’s “Memory Ware” works, where assembled materials create dense, irregular surfaces.
Apparel translates Kelley’s imagery directly into clothing. A zip-up hoodie and matching sweatshirt feature large-scale mosaic prints. A short-sleeve woven shirt features an all-over artwork pattern, while a thermal top features the ‘Satan’s Nostrils’ graphic. The collection also includes a ringer tee and additional graphic tees, including a banner-inspired design based on Kelley’s line of silk banners.
Objects and accessories complete the capsule. A Faribault Mills® wool blanket measures 50 by 72 inches and features a mosaic print. Two skateboard decks feature high-resolution artwork on the bottom, paired with collaborative branding on top. A camp hat printed with the same visual language extends the collection to headwear.
The Supreme x Mike Kelley x Vans collection will release on April 16, 2026, via Supreme, with availability in Asia on April 18.
