Fold, lift, remove: George & Willy’s modular compact coffee table
The wall-mounted Café Table + removable table by George & Willy’s responds to the increasing spatial constraints of modern hospitality environments, where furniture is required to provide flexibility without permanent spatial occupation. The system is designed to allow living room only when required, with full wall cleaning capability tables when not in use.
The panel consists of a precision engineer aluminum structure fixed directly to the wall, allowing the floor space to remain unobstructed. A reversible support post allows for two installation heights: a higher configuration for use with counters or elevated seating surfaces and a lower position for more traditional cafe-Stylish settings with increased legroom. Two table diameters, 40 cm and 60 cm, adapt to different service shapes, from short-stay coffee use to longer dining settings.

Extending this system, the removable table support introduces a storage logic beyond the folding mechanisms. Instead of remaining fixed in a parked position, the table can be completely detached from a permanent wall receiver and reinstalled without tools. This allows the seating element to be completely removed from view when not in use, rather than remaining as a fixed architectural presence. Both accessories, designed by George & Willy’s creatively Brandon Aitken and Will McCallum, offered in black and white finishes, allowing integration into indoor and outdoor hospitality spaces.
